Hello and welcome! My name is Corina, founder of Stripingly Sweet! In 2012, as a favor for a friend, I made cake pops for her event. At the time I held a fulltime job and would simply bake as a hobby. Although I didn't have any intention of pursuing baking as a career, my friends and family started noticing that I had the ability to do so. Slowly, more and more people began ordering from me. I started to research different methods of making caracters and adding details to the pops to make them more personalized to the customers' requests.
After a few months of making treats for friends and family, I decided to start branching out to more people. I created my first business name which was, "Corina's Custom Cake Pops," and began spreading the word. I continued learning and improving day by day and order by order. At the time I "only" made cake pops working in between my fulltime job.
As time progressed and customer's requests became more intriquite, I realized that I couldn't juggle between both careers anymore and I had to make a choice. I chose to continue baking fulltime and leave my 16 year career behind me. Thanks to this huge decision in my life, I was able to start creating different types of treats and adding more detail to them. I continue perfecting my creations as each order is done, adding more options every time.
Today, due to my fascination with stripes, "Corina's Custom Cake Pops" was changed to "Stripingly Sweet," pronounced: stripe-ing-ly.
